The NOVA Standard Control Box provides a cost-effective interface with the NOVA Lock-Up™ and NOVA Lock & Load™. The standardized Printed Circuit Board Assembly control system can be customized at time of field installation by removal of factory installed Firmware Jumper. Removing Firmware Jumper converts from NOVA Lock-Up™ operation to NOVA Lock & Load™ operation.
The Printed Circuit Board Assembly also contains factory installed Jumper Wires that may be removed to interlock control box with Dock Gate, Dock Door, and Dock Leveler. Standardized Firmware requires gate, door, and leveler to be in stored position to release vehicle restraint to enhance dock position safety. The operation with interlock components offers maximum flexibility for integration with dock positions.

PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD ASSEMBLY CONTROL SYSTEM: Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) system includes removable terminal connectors to ease field wire installation.
COMMUNICATION LIGHTS:
- The CB-00 communication light system provides the current status of the truck restraint for the dock attendant and transport vehicle driver
- The CB-00 combined with the NOVA Lock-Up™ Vehicle Restraint will provide a continuous solid red light to inform dock attendant that transport vehicle with RIG is present
HORN OVER-RIDE AND HORN OVER-RIDE RESET: Used when a transport vehicle cannot be safely secured by the vehicle restraint.
STANDARD THREE DEVICE INTERLOCK: The Printed Circuit Board Assembly features interlock connections for optional sensors to detect the gate, leveler, and door positions. These connections include factory-installed jumper wires that enable the implementation of the interlock option at a later date without requiring a software upgrade.
NUMERIC KEYPAD: Used for entering the programmable horn override or maintenance mode.
AUDIBLE ALARM: The standard horn beeps with each keystroke to confirm connectivity. It produces a pulsing alarm for fault conditions and a steady tone when the barrier is in powered motion.
POLYCARBONATE ENCLOSURE:
- Measures 8″ wide x 10″ high x 4″ deep
- Lockable for added security
- The enclosure is rated as NEMA 4X/IP66
- NEMA 4X: Indoor or outdoor use (32° to 122° F) and protects against water (rain, sleet, snow, splashing water and hose directed water) and is corrosion resistant
- IP66: Protects against dust that may harm equipment and protects against low-pressure water jets (all directions)
